The parliamentary elections will be held on Sunday 14 April 2019 and advance voting is possible abroad from 3 to 6 April. European Parliament Elections takes place on Sunday 26 May 2019 and advance voting abroad from 15 to 18 May. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for the organisation of advance voting abroad.
There will be 219 advance polling stations abroad, located in Finland's diplomatic and consular missions or their offices in 86 different countries.

The Ministry of Justice of Finland has the overall responsibility for conducting elections. It has published a list of the advance polling stations and their opening hours on its website at vaalit.fi.
Voting by post will be possible for the first time in connection with these parliamentary elections. Information on the dates, instructions and an order form for postal voting documents are available on vaalit.fi.
You may vote in advance in Pretoria and in Cape Town. Voting is not possible in so called accreditated countries Botswana, Lesotho and Mauritius.
In Pretoria voting at Finnish Parliament Elections takes place at the embassy from Wednesday till Friday 3-5 April 2019. Advance voting in European Elections is possible 15-16 May at 8.00-17.00 and on Friday 17 May 8.00-12.00.
In Cape Town voting place is Nordic Paper & Packaging Ltd at D3 Westlake Square, 1 Westlake Drive Tokai 7945. You may cast your vote at Finnish Parliament Elections on 3-5 April and at European Elections on 15-16 May at 9.00-18.00 and Friday 17 May at 9.00-16.00.
